| When I was eight years old my Dad bought a 2 yr old Quarter Horse that was a reiner. We started traveling the Quarter Horse Circuit and over 53 years later we are competing at AQHA shows in several states. There isnt one regret . Memories of those days are sweet. The enjoyment of my horses today is just as sweet. I cannot imagine not having horses to feed, to brush, and to care for ~ nor can I imagine not having a horse to care about me. I have made some wonderful friends over the years . It is said that the outside of a horse is good for the inside of a (wo)man. Horses have been my life _ all my life. |

| I re-entered the world of showing in August, 2005. I purchased a mare named Sweet Impulses. She was an unshown 3 yr old and I was looking for a bomb proof horse since I hadnt shown for years. It worked out well even though she wasnt the experienced bomb proof horse we had in mind. Cloie has been a true pleasure for me since I have been showing her. She is so good minded, an awesome mover and a true athlete and that has made her my perfect horse. Cloie has given me one of the best years of my life. The "movement of this mare" has proven itself one show at a time. |
